Scarsdale Youth Basketball (SYB) is a competitive travel program. Tryouts are open to all 5th through 8th grade boys and girls who live or attend school in Scarsdale. Our basketball teams compete in the Tri-County Basketball League (TCBL) and play against teams from other organizations in Westchester and neighboring counties. At each grade level, SYB generally sponsors up to four teams, two boys and two girls. The program is designed to give the children a fulfilling, competitive, athletic experience.
Tryouts for the 2022-23 season have now concluded, and training starts in early November. The TCBL league season will run from late November through February, with playoffs taking place over the first two weeks of March. Sign up for our mailing lists to stay informed.
